i said i wouldnt but i lied i want to say something ive been thinking of. sometimes i look back to a past that hasnt been so long ago and feel myself staring at a different world. looking back at old friendships i never could sustain and thinking “can we go back? back to a world made of us? where you and i belonged? does it mean anything to you anymore?”. i often when im feeling sad get tempted to go back to shitty relationships and ignore all the hurt just for the nostalgia of something that never was (which i guess is what nostalgia is at its core), and cling on to a hurt im familiar with than the strange worlds the future are inevitably going to bring. to cling to the old worlds is making them betray their purpose, we can visit but we can no longer stay. its a bit dramatic to say for just like remaking blogs i guess but its been eating me as of late and think its appropiate for this at least
